The core of the blade is made of Japanese SG2 Micro Carbide powder stainless steel and it is enveloped by 80 layers of hard stainless steel on each side.
The powdered steel contains a lot of carbon and the hardness is 63 Rockwell.
The sharpness is stunning and sustainability of sharpness is excellent.
The handle is made of black canvas-micarta. It is odorless, enormously durable and it is made of resin and linen.
The end of the handle is stainless steel, it gives the knife good stability.
